Opening 1 August 2009 - The first hotel belonging to the exclusive brand “Leonardo Royal” invites you to stay in an attractive location in the heart of Mitte – the pulsating district of Berlin that boasts boutiques, clubs and trendy restaurants. The new hotel is located in close proximity to Alexanderplatz, featuring excellent transport connections and fast and easy access to numerous city sights. The historic structure of the hotel is being renovated comprehensively and will be reconstructed in accordance with the existing preservation order. With this, the existing Art Deco style of the attractive lobby will be preserved.
The hotel will comprise 346 rooms including luxury suites, a spaciously designed restaurant and a lounge bar, and will impress its guests on the basis of elegant design in an unpretentious style. The hotel will cater for professional conferences, company events and festive banquets: the ten representative function rooms for up to 500 people, and the 120 m2 VIP lounge provide the exclusive setting for high-level events of any type and size.
The modern wellness lounge on the top floor offers the opportunity for rest and relaxation, with a breathtaking view of the Television Tower. Stylish quiet zones, state-of-the-art fitness equipment and saunas invite you to relax completely.

By car
The Leonardo Royal Hotel Berlin is situated only two minutes’ drive from Alexanderplatz and is easily accessible from all directions. The drive from Berlin-Schönefeld Airport takes some 25 minutes. We provide car parking spaces for our guests.

By public transport
The Metro-tram station “Am Friedrichshain” is located some 150 m distance from the hotel. The tram line 4 (going to Hackesche Märkte) will take you directly to Alexanderplatz and the Hackesche Märkte.
From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport
Take the S-Bahn line 9 (going to Spandau) until you reach S- and U-Bahn station Alexanderplatz. At the S- and U-Bahn station Alexanderplatz/Gontardstrasse please take the Metro-tram line M4 (going to Betriebshof) and continue until you reach the station “Am Friedrichshain”.
